Recently, I had the pleasure of accompanying London artist Camilla Yates for a live session on BBC Radio London.
Last Month I was at BBC Broadcasting house, together with a great band featuring Sam Weston (Double Bass), Fabia Anderson (Backing Vocals), Anna Doherty (Backing Vocals) to perform Camilla's latest single 'Call Me'. The track, echoing a sense of 60's R&B with a hint of Jazz was great fun to learn and play. It was definitely interesting to play acoustic guitar alongside a Double Bass without percussion. I was setting the pace of the track for everyone to follow, so good timing and a strong introduction was paramount.
It was my first time visiting the broadcasting house and a brilliant experience. I hope to be back there again soon! Pictures Below!
